Mel Gibson Booked for Domestic Violence

Mel Gibson was booked and released at the El Segundo Police Department on Wednesday night as part of the sentence for his no contest plea on a misdemeanor battery charge  from an alleged incident on January 2010.  Access Hollywood has confirmed. Gibson pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor battery on a spouse or cohabitant, his then-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva last week.   

The judge ordered, Gibson to perform 16 hours of community service and placed him on criminal probation for 36 months he was also ordered to attend and complete a 52 week domestic violence program. Gibson will continue in a mental health-counseling program, with an undisclosed doctor.
